ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2015 ACMC INDIA CHAPTER

The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication of T.H.K Jain College has recently organized Annual Conference2015 of Asian Congress for Media & Communication (ACMC) India chapter held on 23rd & 24th November2015.
The days Conference was inaugurated by Prof J.S Yadav ( Former Director, IIMC Delhi) as Chief Guest, Prof. K.V Nagaraj (Head, Dept. Of Mass Communication, University of Mizoram) as Special Guest, Prof. Kiran Prasad ( Secretary, ACMC International, Professor Sri Padmavati University, Tirupati), Dr. Mousumi Singh Sengupta ( Principal, T.H.K Jain College) as Chairman , Organizing Committee ACMC Annual Conference 2015, Prof. Biplab Loho Choudhury ( Country Director , ACMC India Chapter & Professor, Visva- Bharati) as conference chair.
For this year the theme of the conference was "India , Asia & the West, Comparing Communication Reality & Perspectives". The two days conference saw a huge participation of Professors, Research Scholars , Students from various Universities, colleges across India as well as Bangladesh. The technical sessions were keenly attended by the Students of different colleges and Universities as well. As retorted by Prof. Sukh Nandan Singh of Dev Sanskriti Viswa Vidyalaya, Haridwar " It has been a thought provoking experience throughout which gave us insight towards interpreting communication in Indian perspectives now on" Prof. Dev Vrat Singh of Jharkhand University said " A remarkable conference, we have no idea that even JainaSutra is such rich to bring communication theories" Dr. Mousumi Singh Sengupta gave her best wishes to the academicians for walking towards the new horizon of communication studies.
Dr. Mashi - ur - Rahman for Rajshahi University, Bangladesh remarked " We are really amazed by the way T.H.K Jain College made our reception, We will be honoured by your presence in our country"
Sri. Kapil Kumar Bhattacharya received the award of best paper presenter for his academic paper " Jain Darshana & Communication perspective" & " Rg- Veda in the light of Communication perspectives". Sri. Soumik Chatterjee of Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, T.H.K Jain College acted as the Convener & Organizing Secretary for this Conference.
