Mechanism for Grievance Redressal

Tara Devi Harakh Chand Kankaria Jain College has created a mechanism for redressal of students' and staff's grievances related to college matters.


Committee Members:

  • Dr. Mausumi Singh (Sengupta) - Principal and Chairperson
  • Dr. Asit Kumar Mondal - (Member Teacher)
  • Dr. Shonima Talapatra Ghosh - (Member Teacher)
  • Prof. Ritayan Ray - (Member Teacher)
  • Smt. Purnima Mukherjee - (Member Non-Teaching)
  • Sri Rajeev Mishra - (Member Non-Teaching)

Functioning of Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC):

  • The students and staff can lodge their grievance through online mechanism by writing a mail to grievance@thkjaincollege.ac.in OR the students and staff can also put their grievances in the suggestions/complaint box placed in the corridor on the ground floor of the College
  • No Anonymous request will be considered for redressal
  • GRC shall consider only individual grievances of specific nature of students and staff and will not consider any grievance of collective nature raised by more than one employee/student
  • The redressal cell will convene meetings whenever required
  • GRC shall consider redressing of grievances within a reasonable time
  • Strict confidentiality of the grievant/victim is ensured throughout the redressal process and thereafter
