The Women's Cell of T.H.K Jain College has been active since
the establishment of this institution and has organized
workshops, training programs and awareness camps for the
female students of the college in the past.
An event was organised by the Women's Cell on the occasion of Women's Day which was based on the subject of 'Comprehensive Well-being of Women'. Dr. Shilpi Mukherjee and Dr. Sujata Chatterjee were the invited as speakers for the event. They discussed and recommended ways to overcome the current health complications and psychological hurdles that women generally face in today's times. Dr. Shilpi Mukherjee conducted an informative session on Cervical Cancer and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. The second session was based on the topic of the 'Importance of psychological well-being of women' which was conducted by Dr. Sujata Chatterjee. She discussed the impact of psychological disorders which could affect physical and emotional well-being of individuals if left untreated. The program was attended by all the female students of the college.
